Dr. Mackenzie has presented for schools, nonprofits and corporations. Her clients include Merrill Lynch, Zions Bank, and A Voice for Utah Children, as well as private, parochial and public schools.

Dr. Mackenzie holds a bachelors degree from Brown University, an MSW from Simmons College, and a Ph.D. from the University of Utah. After a 20-year career working as a clinician, researcher, and developing programs for non-profit organizations, she went back to film school to pursue one of her life long passions- documentary film making.

Jenny feels that documentary film is the perfect way to reach wide audiences and help to create necessary social change. Jenny’s first film, “Where’s Herbie?” is an award-winning portrait of a 91-year-old working lobster man who shares his philosophy on life, death and the risks of retirement.

Regarding her latest film “Kick Like a Girl,” Jenny explains “It’s about giving children possibilities that aren’t limited by gender (race or class), and the strength and character that develops when children are given the opportunity to excel and be the best that they can be.
